Forest fires cannot be stopped by conventional firefighting methods. The fire department needs support from the air. The SIKU fire plane can be filled with water, just like the real thing. With its yellow signal color, the firefighting aircraft can be recognized by firefighting teams operating on the ground, even in thick smoke. Pressure on the trigger and water from the tank falls down. The aircraft retracts the front wheel and main landing gear. With a new SIKU firefighting aircraft, a new SIKU transport helicopter (2527) and Mercedes-Benz Zetros (2109) and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 6×6 (2113) firefighting vehicles, the young rescuers are well prepared for their next intervention.
